Service Guidelines

  • Please place materials in bags or containers – not to exceed 50 lbs.
  • Bulk items will be collected at the same time as all other materials – contact our office for additional guidelines.
  • Any upholstered items (including mattresses and box springs) must be wrapped in plastic.
  • Brush must be tied in bundles not exceeding 4ft. x 2ft. with branches 2in. or less in diameter.
  • Missed materials must be reported within 24-hours of the normal pickup day.
  • Please contact our office for collection of Freon based appliances ($100.00 disposal fee per item).

If a holiday falls on or before your collection day, service is delayed one day, that week only. If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday there will be NO change in your scheduled pick up day

Recycling

  • All recyclable materials are collected weekly with no additional fees.
  • Do not bundle or bag materials – place loosely in bins.
  • Plastic grocery bags are NOT accepted – please return to grocery store.
  • Window glass and glass dishes are NOT recyclable.

optional containers for rent

  • 1-95-gallon trash & 1-65-gallon is provided to each residence free of charge.
  • Additional 95-gallon carts available for rent at $3.50 per mo. / $10.50 billed quarterly.
  • Additional 65-gallon recycling carts available for rent at $3.50 per mo. / $10.50 billed quarterly.

Payment Terms

  • $20.99 mo. + current fuel charges / billed quarterly.
  • Payment is due 45 days from the statement date; at which time a $3.00 late fee is applied.
  • Bills that remain unpaid for 75 days will be subject to an additional $15.00 penalty.
  • Senior Discount - must be 60 years or older & head of household (mail copy of ID & current utility bill).
    • $18.96 mo. + current fuel charges / billed quarterly.
  • Local Waste Services accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Discover (credit / debit) & direct debit.  
  • There is a $1.99 processing fee for credit/debit card payments and a $0.60 fee for direct debit.
